If I could read any sort of literature ever created, it would be either the original version of The Odyssey or the Presidential Diary. I loved Roman/Greek mythology and The Odyssey is no doubt one of the greatest. Reading the original, although in a completely different language, would be, to me at least, over one hundred times greater than reading the modern version. Just knowing it would be the original and unedited copy, would be such a thrill to me and there is a great possibility that some of the story has been lost or left out throughout the years of it being orally told. The other work of literature I would like to get my hands on is the Presidential Diary, even though it may not officially exist. I have seen the Presidential Diary on several occasions on the History Channel and after hearing about what it may, or may not, contain it has been a dream of mine to get my hands on it. Reading about what all the past presidents over the last two-and-a-half decades had to say and what they knew would be an experience all on its own. Also, having the knowledge of knowing what secrets the past presidents have known and passed on to the future line of very select individuals would give me a sense of power and a rush that nothing else could compare to.
